Greek is a self-contained application containing small audio files, which can be "spoken", on demand.
How do I install "GREEK" ?
- Return to the Download Page, click on Greek - "Download" - Download may take a minute or so !
- Locate the downloaded ZIP file, which is represented by a single file called "Greek.zip".
Depending on your computer, your Operating System and your System Parameters, it may be on the deskTop, in the Downloads Folder,
in the Documents Folder, etc.
- Unzip the downloaded file. Depending on your computer, Operating System and Browser Preferences, a double-click will normally launch the unZip function.
On Mac OSX Systems, the unzip function is automatic, and will create the unzipped file "Greek.app".
- You may place this application anywhere on your computer disk, including the deskTop.
The Greek application is self-contained, and requires no external files !
- To run the application, simply double-click on the icon Greek.app or Greek.exe,
If you have moved the downloaded file to an applications folder, you may wish to create a shortcut/alias and place it in the dock (Mac) or on your desktop.
The Greek application is valid for both PC computers and Apple Mac computers.
It has been tested under Windows XP, and also on Apple Mac systems running OS 10.7 (Lion).
It should work on all recent Mac OS-X versions, and Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
To recapitulate, you have downloaded an application program which is made available in two forms :
a - A Greek.exe file, which you will use if you are running a PC computer,
b - A Greek.app file which you will use if you are running a Mac computer.
NOTE : In this first version (to test the use of the program), only the Macintosh version Greek.app is supplied.
